“Moody” is Emsa's new album, available in streaming on Spotify and on all digital platforms.
After releasing several singles between the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021, the young rapper Emsa from Bergamo (IT), born in 1999, finally arrives at the turning point of his career: "Moody" is in fact his first official album, which concretizes a long pay of duces, experimentation and research of his own artistic identity.
Entirely produced by PS Lab, “Moody” is a personal record, felt, at various times intimate and reflective, but also energetic, permeated by a desire for redemption expressed through music. Emsa tells the dreams of those who live in the provinces, of those who experience realities that are not pleasant to tell, let alone to cross, but which temper the character and personality. Emsa raps for his parents, for his friends, for those who believe in a different future, but moving away from the clichés and stereotypes of gangsta rap, embracing a more positive and stimulating vision for the listener. It does so by moving on different sounds, alternating moments of pure rap with other more melodic ones, which wink at pop, in a genuine and personal way.
“We started working on“ Moody ”in 2020, in quarantine, when the spirits were not at all calm. Now, on the other hand, I've found myself in the universe”- Emsa
